Welcome to SCRO
Created in 2016 and officially registered in Ontario as a Non-For-Profit Organization in 2017, Southern Cameroons Relief Organization (SCRO) is a chapter of the Southern Cameroons Association Canada. SCRO’s main goal is to provide relief support to the estimated over 1.500.000 internally displaced people (IDP) with hundreds more joining the cue everyday as the Cameroon Military continue to kill, arrest, torture and burn down houses and villages thereby forcing people to run for their lives in Southern Cameroons. SCRO also supports more 120.000 refugees in Nigeria and about 150 in Ghana. We also give support and help to settle Ambazonian refugees arriving Canada.
Millions of women and children in Ambazonia are denied access to basic human rights like health care, nutrition and education. We can no longer accept this as ‘normal’.
